Exclusive Feature: MICAH KIYO

Remember the first time you saw an artist perform and they totally blew you away? Yes, I had this experience about a week ago when I attended an event at "Do-Restaurant at the view," in which they were having a Christmas showcase featuring indie artists. That's when saw Micah Kiyo performed. This woman is a power house and I instantly became a fan. She had a live performance, no lip singing and she had her own dancers. Her vocals were on point, dancing was even better, her style is so unique and her humbling personality completed everything. After her performance, she along with her team came down and greeted everyone and took pictures. I already knew that I was a fan of hers after seeing her perform, but after I met her and her team, it was just another confirmation. Micah Kiyo has a beautiful spirit and a dynamic voice, style, and moves to go with it. She is an artist that you really want to follow and watch because she is on the rise. Can't wait to see more of her! #mykupoftea

Kim Kardashian, Lance Gross, & Brandy Norwood Star in New Tyler Perry Film

Via Kim K's Instagram, she along with Lance Gross, Brandy Norwood, Vanessa Williams, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Robbie Jones will be starring in a new Tyler Perry film, "Temptation-Confessions of a Marriage Counselor." And the tag line is "Seduction is the Devil's Playground." Sounds good, huh? And with this cast line up its sure to be a success.

The film is set to be in theaters March 29th, 2013 so it's right around corner.

Here's more about the film via huffingtonpost.com:

"It's about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life,” Perry, who wrote, directed and produced the drama, said in a statement."She goes on a journey -– in her career and in her marriage -– and she ends up in a very different place than she expected."

"There are a lot of people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don't step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they’re doing," Perry said in the official synopsis for the film. "This movie asks, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' It sends up a flag."

I for one am ready to watch this film. Tyler Perry films always have good messages in them that we can take with us once we leave the theater.....and I'm sure this one will follow suit with the rest. #mykupoftea

Lil Wayne to Executive Produce Juelz Santana's "Born to Lose, Built to Win" Album

This is not the first time that Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana has collaborated on an album. In fact, they have a long list of songs that they've worked on including the "I Can't Feel My Face" project that has still not been released.

Nonetheless, Weezy and Juelz are teaming up again to work on Santana's third upcoming LP, "Born to Lose, Built to Win, in which Wayne will be the executive producer.

Via MTV.com, Juelz Santana spoke with RapFixLive.com first to tell them about the collaboration.

"I went out to Miami to chop it up with Wayne. I actually asked him to executive produce my album, Born to Lose."

And there you have it! It's been awhile since Juelz has released his own album, 2005 to be exact with "What The Game's Been Missing," so I'm excited to hear about his new album. You can also expect a New Mixtape from Juelz entitled, "God Willin'" to drop in January. #mykupoftea
